Meet the Artists of the Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella Capsule Collection

Ashley "Pinklomein" Price's art reflects everyday people with a focus on women empowerment and positive affirmations.

Ashley was born in Frankfurt, Germany and traveled the world with her family as a military brat. She is currently living in Houston, Texas.
Ashley's love for art has cultivated a community of collectors and genuine buyers who truly appreciate the work she creates. As an artist she is humble, brave and always seeking the very best version of herself.
“The 1997 version of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella taught me that dreams really do come true! This version of Cinderella was bold and daring and brought joy to my soul.
The inspiration behind the piece I created was to grasp the vivid and musical aspect of the film into a beautiful woman who, like Cinderella, has dreams and can be whatever she wants to be.”

Lauren Hom is a designer, letterer and educator.

A self-proclaimed "artist with a business brain," she picked up hand lettering as a hobby while studying advertising in college. That hobby grew into a passion and, over the next few years, she leveraged a few clever passion projects into a thriving design business thanks to the power of the internet.

Known for her bright color palettes, playful letterforms and quirky copywriting, Lauren has created work for clients like Vans, Target, Google and Adobe. She loves sharing her knowledge with others through her blog and online courses.

When she's not running her business, you can find her cooking an elaborate vegetarian meal at home or finally making her way through the niche craft supplies she bought last year. In 2023, Lauren is attending culinary school in NYC to expand her creative skill set and explore the intersection of the graphic arts and culinary arts.

"I drew inspiration for my design from the color, whimsy and magic I remembered seeing (and feeling!) in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Never in a million years would the younger me have believed she'd be asked to design something for the 25th anniversary when she grew up!" Learn more about Lauren's work at www.homsweethom.com.

Shae Anthony is an Atlanta-based illustrator and decorator who loves to blend pattern and color into every project she creates.

Combining her background in fashion and love of graphics, Shae started her own business designing illustrations that not just represent women of color, but women of all shades. “She Is This” aims to inspire girls and women alike to not just embrace their skin but celebrate it and everything it comes with - because this skin, girl this skin is beautiful.

“Seemingly impossible things like our goals, hopes and dreams can feel so unattainable at times. These lyrics reminded me that everyone has their own path and that while it may feel challenging and at some times out of reach, it can be done! Like the figures climbing the mountain to reach the stars, we are all at different points on our journey. But like the stars in the sky there's plenty for everyone. We can all reach them even when it feels impossible.” Learn more about Shae's work at ww.sheisthis.com.

I hand lettered the lyrics ‘There is Music in You’ with a classic pumpkin carriage to honor Whitney Houston’s Fairy Godmother. I hope this art spreads some cheer, positivity and nostalgia, just like the movie." Learn more about Jess' work at www.jessmillerdraws.com.
