Lauren Hom is a designer, letterer and educator.
A self-proclaimed "artist with a business brain," she picked up hand lettering as a hobby while studying advertising in college. That hobby grew into a passion and, over the next few years, she leveraged a few clever passion projects into a thriving design business thanks to the power of the internet.
Known for her bright color palettes, playful letterforms and quirky copywriting, Lauren has created work for clients like Vans, Target, Google and Adobe. She loves sharing her knowledge with others through her blog and online courses.
When she's not running her business, you can find her cooking an elaborate vegetarian meal at home or finally making her way through the niche craft supplies she bought last year. In 2023, Lauren is attending culinary school in NYC to expand her creative skill set and explore the intersection of the graphic arts and culinary arts.

"I was thrilled to work on this piece celebrating the 25th anniversary of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella. I vividly remember watching the movie when it premiered in 1997 – and loving the costumes, the sets and of course the music! I hand lettered the lyrics ‘There is Music in You’ with a classic pumpkin carriage to honor Whitney Houston’s Fairy Godmother. I hope this art spreads some cheer, positivity and nostalgia, just like the movie." Learn more about Jess' work at www.jessmillerdraws.com.
